The following table lists projects included in the Minnesota traffic calming database, categorized by the reason for implementation (that is, type of problem being solved). The table lists the number of projects that have been reported. Click a Reason for Implementation to view a list of projects. Click the definition link to see a description of the problem.

The database includes all projects submitted by city and county engineers in Minnesota. Several of the techniques listed may be classified by some communities as traffic control devices, rather than traffic calming devices.
